Welcome to my blog. I'm your host, Guillaume Hansali. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you'll enjoy your visit and find something helpful.
Who I am
I'm a French entrepreneur who has been living in Japan since 2006. I'm the Country Manager of Keywords Studios Japan during the daytime, an amateur guitarist during the nighttime, and a wine lover during both. I'm an avid reader, and I also like cooking and baking.
I write about ideas, books, or people that have inspired me, and I share experiences and self-reflection.
I tweet on rare occasions and produce music on even rarer occasions.
Why I'm writing
I'm mostly writing for myself, but not out of self-importance. Writing helps me tremendously. It is a demanding process that forces me to clarify my thoughts and fill the gaps within my understanding of the topics I cover. The more I write, the more I grow, and the closer I get to fully grasping ideas that resonate with me. By reading my blog, you are helping me with this process, and I thank you for that.
I also believe in the ideal of collective wisdom. We all see the world from different angles, and our subjective experiences are an integral part of reality. Sharing our perspectives can help us understand who we are. This blog is my attempt at sharing mine in the hope that it may be useful to someone someday.
What I hope you can find here
First and foremost, I hope you get to know me, the kind of person I am, through my writings.
I hope you can find (hopefully) new perspectives on things you already knew or discover new ideas altogether.
I hope you can find inspiration to be a lifelong learner–as I thrive on being–and share how you see the world from your unique perspective.
